Hello gang.

A little update might be in order. Today is Jamie's bday, which means we're going out celebrating :) Something very well needed after two "less fun" lectures today. I'm hoping my fourth one tmrw morning (!) will be a little more like my Conference and Convention class (more practical) I had on Wed. Oh well, you can't have everything working for ya, can ya?

The past couple of nights have been fun. I def enjoy spending more and more time with the people down here. Last night we had a BBQ at Lina & Julia's, and I got to meet some people I haven't met before, including one of their roommates. We're all going to Race Day next weekend and probably (?) the Back 2 School party tmrw night. We'll see ;) The girls and I are also planning to throw a typical Swedish Crayfish party in the end of August (when we know some more people ;) ) .. Can't wait!

But enough about partys. I'm sorry I haven't been able to Skype with more of you. The time difference is a b****, aye? I'm hoping things will get better once I settle in more and know wth I'm doing around here. I feel a little weird without a job to go to, and not having had enough lectures to get into school and all that jazz. It'll get better soon, I'm sure.

I'm working on getting my RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol certification), to make it a little easier, hopefully, to get a job down here. Apparantly it's a necessity to have down here, if you want any job in the hospitality industry. They've made a fun online course you can take, which is exactly what I'm doing right now. Lina and Julia's roommate Felix already got his earlier this week :) Doing a little extra work can't hurt right? ;)
