Heeello.

Last blog post didn't exactly tell you much about what's been going on lately, so I'm guessing you're curious to know what actually HAS been going on in the past few days.

I came back from Coolangatta a few hours ago, where Nate lives (as I said in my last post), with his roommates. Nurpie and I had a whole nother idea of what the house would be like, but I think I speak for both of us when I say we were not disappointed! The four of us headed down to the beach for a few hours before heading back to the house and had a big house party with his roommates and their friends. I know I have said this a lot, but I love the Aussies & Kiwis I've met so far! Such great people!

We had a big "all you can eat" pancake lunch down at the beach before Nurpie and Uschi headed back to Windaroo. Well, everyone except Nate. The other three of us felt slightly sick after lunch. Too much pancakes I figure.. Haha. Nurps and I took a bunch of pics of the beautiful sunset at the beach yesterday. I'm hoping she will send some of hers to me in the next few days so I can show you!

Thursday night I went out with a couple of girls I met at orientation, Lina and Julia. Really nice Swedish girls. Went over to their new place, only a few blocks away, before heading to the clubs. It was a pretty slow night in Surfers so I fully expect crazier nights to come!! ;)

Found out my old friend, Nadine, another fellow au pair I befriended in Philly (org from Germany), is here as a student too for the next semester. How exciting!! We're going to try to set something up for a roadtrip or at least a long wknd together. I can't wait. We always have a blast whenever we get together. Two little crazy blondes, aye. What could be better? ;)

Watched my first rugby match Friday too. Learned about their rules and everything. Haha. God. I love soccer so much more. Baseball too. But I'll give it another try just because I'm here ;) Our Phillies are playing right now, and I wish I was at the arena watching along with my old buddies.

But I'm not complaining about where I am! Right now one of my roommates and his friend are DJ:ing in the other room. I love it. What a great pair of roommates I got myself, aye? One DJ and the other a personal trainer. Yup. I have a pretty sweet set up! :)
