re: April 10, 2012Vishnu Hello Dave,I was a happy videographer wonrikg with a Sony VX2100 and Premiere Pro CS3 but since I bought my new Vixia HF s200 I havenb4t been able to make anything in HD, in fact I bought too Cineform NeoScene to convert my footage into AVI but premiere CS3 cant edit these HD Avi files and the render is very time consuming. I see CS5 has native support for AVCHD but it requires an ultra expensive video card, 4 cores processor and 64 bits OS (I have an XP based Athlon 64 x2 PC with 4 GB and a 1 GB radeon 9600 video card). Given these problems I am considerig switching to an iMac, but I would preffer to keep wonrikg with PC. I have seen you work with sony vegas and in this video you are considering Avid. Could you give me some advise on a software solution and hardware upgrades to keep wonrikg in windows plataform with my new camerab4s footage? Thanks a lot for your time. Best regards,Luciano Ippolito
re: Las Vegas US Open, NevadaLucie Check the terms of your credit card, but cash avnadces generally accrue interest starting from the first day, even if you pay your balance in full at the end of the month, only the purchases amount is interest-free. There might also be a fee for a cash advance again, check the terms for your card.
re: San Juan National Forest, ColoradoImai Tim,I live in Whitefish, MT and go to Alberta and BC about 3 to 4 times a year.Looks like you are going to Banff. Also, looks like you are going up Highway 2 to Calgary. You won't see anything inineesttrg going that way.My wife and I go up 22 (Cowboy Trail) to Longview then west to Kananaskis Highway. You will see more mountains and many animals that way. So, if Banff is first stop (not Calgary) then when you hit Lethbridge, go west on (3) until you reach (22 North). Longview is first town you'll hit gas up before, as Longview is 90 km from Highway (3) with nothing but beauty. Go north from Longview on (22) about 1/2 mile max or so and take (541) west to Kanaskis Highway (40). Go north on (40) until you hit Canada Highway 1. Canmore and then Banff short jaunt from there to the West. Roads paved all the way. Bring your camera. We've done this trip about 30 times and it is always beautiful. Going again in October. If you are going to Calgary first and not Banff, go up 22 until you hit 22x go right to Calgary. A little out of the way but way prettier. If you are driving from Banff to Lake Louise, take Bow Valley Parkway instead of 93. We got lots of grizzly bear, black bear and elk pictures in June on that road. Stop at Castle Mountain memorial. Interesting piece of history. If you have questions call (406) 253-0723. Alex
re: Jackson Hole, WyomingAkshay Gotta say the public doamin stock is in great quality! The old video version I had of this had notable film breaks in the quality and missing footage.
re: April 2, 2012Kamryn having a contract miolbe phone (cellphone) can also be helpful as your monthly payments to this will show up on your credit score. I managed to get a contract phone when I had a bad credit score, and I think this helped improve my rating.

re: Targhee National Forest, IdahoSolya spouses and children fall on the 10 year rule. the seebecimemvrr must have been 6 yrs or more in the service and must agree to 3 more years of active duty in order to transfer the benefits. The only exception is if the service member has served over 10 years of active duty. Call the VA customer service for education and they can advise you more inf any changes had happened to the rule.
re:Trinidad I would also say to my fellow verneats leaving service, while in school apply for a VA workstudy position, become an intern in your later years of school, so you can should that the degree your have has some experience attached. Resumes need to show you knowledge skills abilities and qualifications.every state has verneats employment representatives to assist you with you transition utilize them as a resource and a networking team member. REMEMBER the number one way to get hired is NETWORKING. JR Romero, Intensive Service Coordinator State of NMUSN, RET
re: April 9, 2012Douglas The article by Sally Caspers is on point and while her top 3 are ionrmtapt, especially when preparing for college, I think number 5 is the most ionrmtapt, in terms of a veteran not only staying in college but having a successful and rewarding post-secondary education. While it is true that many Colleges/Universities are opening Veteran Service Centers on their campuses, a lot more have been slow to move on this. Some only provide limited service and some even worry more about the crazy veteran stereotype. This is why it's so ionrmtapt for student-veterans to reach out to one another (besides the shared experience); stick together and either join the SVA chapter at their campus or if your school doesn't have one, form a veterans club. Unfortunately, there are many college administrations that do not take the needs of veterans seriously until they (the student-veterans) band together and start educating on what it is they need (Veteran Service Office, a counselor, a dedicated financial aid officer, etc.)It's ionrmtapt to note that while an individual may not have been in a leadership position during their time in service, they have the skills and experience to be leaders on their campuses. This is why veterans need to stick together, be seen, educate, and be involved. I promise you will have a better college experience for it.Lastly, I would recommend that if any veteran is thinking or planning on attending college anytime in the near future, it will be helpful to find a college that offers a Veterans Upward Bound program or some free college-prep courses. They can be very helping in avoiding having to take remedial classes.
re: April 2, 2012Santosh Well that makes a heck of a lot more sense than recovering from amisnea. I had initially figured that Meela was originally Yuen, but had suffered amisnea and been adopted by Tannor. But there were some pretty heavy flaws in that to begin with Namely flashback-Meela being pretty clearly younger than Yuen.
re: Outside Shoshone, WyomingMousumi SHELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long time, no talk, beautiful lady!!!!Damn, I would LOVE to have you come on up from down under. Better still would be monivg there, but alas Kids.Oh, and the Golden Tee community is all but dead in the land of Oz anymore! Michele got butter?
Iwo I imagine they will bring in mulpitle recruits this spring trying to figure out if the kids fit. Sounds like they are throwing them into pick up games and seeing if they can play. Any word on the big center out of North Carolina? I like the looks of the two kids from New York and Colorado although you'd have to wonder if physically or athletically they are MWC caliber but you don't have to be world class athletes to compete .ask Air Force, CSU and some of the other good players in the league who've been better skill wise than athlete-wise. Air Force won the league just a few years ago with a bunch of kids that knew how to defend, get the open shot and hustled. It can be done. Larry Shyatt appears to be looking at a team that is going to try and win 55-52, rather than 88-82. The recruiting for Fall 2011 will be the interesting story.
