After my last blog entry I went to meet Rachael, a family friend who now lives in Perth. We went up to Kings Park, above the city, and ate kebabs looking out at the sky-line which was lit up and reflecting off the river. It really is a beautiful city at night! I finally left the farm about 2 weeks ago and headed to Brisbane where I met up with a group of friends all of whom I worked with at some point on the farm. I spent about 4 days in Brisbane, in torrential rain. I really dont think it stopped once! We visited Australia Zoo which was interesting, Steve Irwin was everywhere!! I have had a rather uneventful 6 weeks since last updating my blog. Around the time of my last update it was rather hot and we went on a few trips to the local pool, including one particularly good trip which ended in a visit to the pub and getting pizza. We also had a girls night with Lisa where we introduced her to the Sex and the City movie! Over Christmas the weather was rather dull and cloudy with cooler temperatures and a fair amount of rain. Since updating my blog last Saturday I have had possibly one of the most eventful weeks since arriving at Lemontree. Last weekend Chris stayed over at the Donga for 3 nights and Lisa's boyfriend was away which led to a lot of drinking! Lisa's Mom was visiting so we had drinks and a BBQ on Friday. So, I have now been at the Dairy for 7 weeks and have 12 weeks to go until we set off travelling!
