San Pedro is a small town on the Lake Atitlan. Ometepe island is 2 volcanoes joined together situated in the middle of Nicaragua Lake. The ferry was only 1 hour from the mainland and then we caught a taxi from the ferry town to a little town called Santa Domingo. The trip from Tamarindo to Tilaran took longer than we thought.
