We lined up with the trucks for the street parade to the Transport Hall of Fame. There were people lining the road for the entire drive - maybe around 10km. The kids loved it when the horns were tooting, especially on the old cars. We wandered around the displays and saw some really old, unrestored trucks and brand new ones. The Overlander Badge recipients were really pleased with themselves last night. Unfortunately I haven't got a good photo of the group but all had a good time. The day was relaxing with visits to the gorges and Desert Park, shopping, car washing and relaxing. We all got together for a barbeque dinner at the park and had a nice time. A big day tomorrow in the National Road Transport Hall of Fame parade.

The West MacDonnell Ranges were on the agenda today. There were many options. Ormiston Gorge, Serpentine Gorge, Standley Chasm, Simpons Gap and more. No matter what stops people did it was spectacular. Most of us caught up at midday at Standley Chasm where the sun was shining straight down at midday. Most of the "old car" boys went to a mates workshop to organise a grease and oil change and general check over. The girls , plus Craig and Pete, met up at Adelaide House in the centre of the Todd Mall. It is the original hospital for Alice Spings and built by John Flynn - on the $20 note.
