So we Arrived in Chicago on the morning of Thursday 20th March after spending the night in a tiny sleeper cab room on the train which was an experience. To say that we weren't bright eyed and ready for the day was a bit of an understatement. We caught a Cab to the hotel but we a little early to check in and so spent a couple of hours looking around, got some food and went in the internet cafe. We eventually checked in and went for some sleep and a shower. in the other order! When we eventually woke up we headed out for a look around and had some some hotdogs (a Chicago speciallity). for dinner.
Friday 21st March again was a quite one we heaed outside into another blizzard and went to the indoor warmth of the navy pier and took a few hours to look around. We had a 1/2 long snowball fight on the pier which was well funny and bendo made a snowman! After the navy pier we went for a look up and down the posh michigan avenue or the magnificant mile as they call it! after a while we went back to do some washing in the sink and corinne had another sleep (she likes to sleep alot). we later went out for a few drinks and a trip to the cinema to see 10'00bc.
The next morning Saturday 22nd march we again had breakfast at Vest Egg an a really cool place that have about 50 or so egg dishes! We went on a mad walk to the museum area, stopping in a park along the way to look at thi really weird big silver blob that reflect all around it was pretty sweet. After another snowball fight and a corinne slipping in the ice which was well funny! We took a stroll along the lake (michigan which is one of the great lakes and is huge!!!!!!) during which time wolfie tried to convince corinne that it was only a lake and fresh water!
Anyways after an afternoon and evening of exploring we returned to the Hotel and packed for the 25 hour journey to alburquerque the next day!
Wolfie woke early on the sunday 23rd March and went of to Fado's to watch the match against the trafford park scum, the pub (fado's) was filled with American manc's that have probably never even been to old trafford. anyways after watching the redmen get beat for the first time whilst we have been away we had some breakfast before heading for the train and another night in a sleeper compartment!
