So after a couple beers the day of arriving we went and booked on a boat cruise (island hopping tour) for the following day. Was taken to the boat and people and crates of booze loaded onto boat. Did not realise how much fun the day was going to actually be but whilst cruising about the waters we stopped for an hour or so where we were able to jump in water off roof of boat into water and do some snorkelling in the fantstically clear blue waters!!! Needless to say myself and Daz were straight up on the roof doing the only thing two english guys in the middle of the ocean can do..... BOMBING!!! Get in. Very funny as our particualr boat only had about 8 westerners on it filled up with another 30 or so Chinese!! Think we did keep them entertained with our antics mind you so all good. After stopping off at a couple islands we stopped once more in water where from no where a drum kit was set up ad a guitar produced from cabin, brilliant music and this was all topped off with Karaoke which the chinese go mad for and were getting well into. I was up on a platform set up jigging about whilst consuming the plentiful booze which was on offer, as was everybody (including the captain of the ship!!) Everybody was then back in water and a floating bar was chucked in where we all drank some dirty rocket fuel whilst drifting about in life jackets (once again anywhere else health and safety would be all over this like a bad rash). After heading back that evening we went out with 2 Canadians we met on the boat and another girl called Jazz from UK. Had some food and a few drinks and met some other westrners whilst out and about and dragged them to another bar with us.
Following day we were heading out that evening to continue our journey northwards up to Hoian, however we had an entire day to kill before hand so headed to the beach where we spent the day just off the golde beaches at a fantastic restaurant/bar called Louisanna. Very swanky establishment that had loungers set up around a swimming pool outside overlooking the beach and was a very relaxing chilled day swimming and bathing which was just what was required after the previous few days antics, great fun!
Would have been nice to spend a little longer around the beaches, however given Daz short timeframe and the fact I would be heading to Thialand in not to distant future was not too fussed about missing beaches now given the time I planned to spend on these in Thailand (with my ladyboy!!) That evening was a night bus jourey up to Hoian which is where the next installment will be coming from!! t this rate I might even get po to date with where I am now, but for now you will just have to continue guessing. Haha.
