Steve and myself got a longtail boat across the river and then had a half mile trek up a dirt track to find the main road. Upon reaching the main road we were immediatley picked up by a sangthew again for the 2-3 hour journey back to Pakse. Prior to heading to Tha Khek we had a couple day stop over in Vientienne again. This was so that Steve could collect his passport which he had left here to allow his Vietnamese visa to be completed. ON bus journey to Luang Prabang met Camille, Yumi, Vanessa who we had seen in Vang Vieng doing tubing. They knew of a place to stay in Luang Prabang so we followed them to a guest house which was nice enough so stayed here.
