ON bus journey to Luang Prabang met Camille, Yumi, Vanessa who we had seen in Vang Vieng doing tubing. They knew of a place to stay in Luang Prabang so we followed them to a guest house which was nice enough so stayed here. That evening we wandered through the night market (as pictured here) and had some food at this as well. Some fantastic bbq chicken & fish by far nicest food eaten along my travels, beautiful!

The next day we all met in morning and headed to Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls. Once again awesome looking waterfalls even in the pissing rain which we had to endure...... Ended up with leaches all over our legs and feet from walking through the forest so everybody with little blood marks on legs and feet from where these had been forcefully removed....... That evening was Yumi's birthday so we all met in the local sports bar had a few drinks before heading to a local night club.... In here there was a group of locals with one of them whose birthday it was. Had a cake fight with them whcih we somehow unintentially got involved in. After washing this off and after a few more beers we headed to a bowling alley which is only place open late here. No chance of bowling since so busy but there was a big group of westerners here and we joined in with the drinking games they already had underway. After a very late drunken night finally got to bed and slept most of the next day until 2pm....... (still not like I have work to get up for is it!! haha)

After a walk around we all met up again that evening in the sports bar which turned out to not be a very good sports bar since it was Euro 2008 final day and they were not showing it!!! Deffinatley some kind of trade descriptions act going on there.... Anyway we found a hotel showing it and seemed to be where most people were watching it. Once again another late night since game did not finnish until 4am..... Next morning we were awoken at guest house by the tuk-tuk driver who was taking me & Steve to our bus back to Vientienne. Overslept and he was waiting as a result which I dont think impressed him, but what can you do (other then getting up on time of course!!!).

Good few days at Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng with the other guys and shame to be going our seperate ways. that said everybody heading in same sort of directions so every chance will bump into again somewhere along the road as always seem to happen here!!!
