Hi Everyone,
We had a very good nights sleep in the huge bed, and the shower was great, we were up early as usual. After breakfast we walked across the road from the hotel to the famous "Troon Golf Course", it looks a very challenging course, but the weather not for my liking to play golf - to wet!! The club house looks very posh and only for members so we were not able to check the inside out.
Leaving our lovely hotel we next drove to the village of Symington only 10 miles inland from Troon, by this time the rain had settled in for the day so just did a quick picture of the town sign before getting under way to drive up to McDuff to stay with Diane for the next 4 days.
We chose to drive up through Glen Coe again which is really pretty, unfortunately the weather being wet and lots of low cloud you couldn't see very well, but it was still lovely to drive through the Glen again.
After we got to Fort William we turned off for the Cairngorms National Park, driving through Kingussie, there is lots of snow on the mountain tops as there was when we were driving through Glen Coe, looks beautiful.
By the time we arrived at Diane's it was quite dark being just on 6.30 pm but the rain had lessened and it felt warmer.
Good to see Diane again.
Chat again soon

Sharon & Colin Hey, this is a fabulous way to keep track of you isn't it. Good to see you are both having a grand time and looks like the weather isn't too cold. Send some coolness over to Perth please. Big hello to Diane. Hope you get some golf in.
