A few notes about the Cassair Highway: This highway is a narrow country road type. Twists and turns, mountain steep grades. No lines, No breakdown lane, No berms and no shoulder. Throw in frost heaves and pot holes and total isolation. This was the longest stretch of nothingness on the whole trip. The Alaska Highway had a 300 mile stretch but 450 was our record.
