Will-and-Marge's Great Adventure to Alaska
Miles to next stop: 215
Leave at 9:00 a.m. Temp: 43
States Today: Montana and Alberta (Canada)
Accrued miles to date: 2535
Saying of the day: Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
Note: Gas 1.10/liter = about 3.90/gal Oh yes and do you want the pump to read in English or French?
Another bright sunny day for travel and the temperature is supposed to hit the high 70's. Arrive the Canada Border at 9:40 and safely through. No need to throw out any fresh fruits or vegetables, or dairy products. But we never know.
Same kind of driving topography as you’d expect to see in Nebraska or Kansas, miles and miles of plains and not much else. Still seeing the Pronghorn Antelope (American) though. The whole time traveling North in Alberta we were running parallel to the Canadian Rockies all snow covered and due West of our location now is Banff in the Rockies.
Arrive: Mossleigh, AB, Aspen Crossing RV Park 1:10 MDT
Arrived Temp 77 degrees - Blue Sky
Staying one night
Where to next: Spruce Grove, AB, (Edmonton) Diamond Grove RV Park

June Chamberlin Oh, no, you didn't! Crazy people! You're lucky they didn't confiscate that thing at the border and throw you two in jail for trying to smuggle contraband!
June Chamberlin Wow, are these trains near your site, and rolling by all night? It would be tough sleeping!
June Chamberlin Quaint! Is there more to the town than this??
June Chamberlin Are they like cabin rentals? I wonder if they have many tourists to this area? Doesn't look like much to do there....
June Chamberlin I don't see anyone... Don't keep us guessing! When you said trees, I sort of pictured leaves, you know?
June Chamberlin Okay, what is that? I mean besides something that is shaped like a cow?
June Chamberlin I never expected to see miles and miles of flat plains up there...and the weather is warmer than we are today! Strange...
Elaine Any Milk? Would you know how to milk a cow?
Elaine Now THAT fits his style. He looks right at home.
John Marcia Chess Buddy, you better keep Marge away from the Edmonton Mall. We were there a few years ago and it was a Big, Big Mall. PS don't tell her about it. Keep this to yourself.
Will Mitchell John and Marcia, to late. It was on the schedule before we left. Largest mall in north america! That's why 3 nights there. lol We will be staying just a few miles W of the mall.
Betty K Wish I were Corey's friend. The scenery is great even if flat.

Tricia Moore I agree with June about the flat plains. I don't think I have ever seen such flat land.
