Deidre blew out a flip-flop around noon, and most of you know how she feels about toenail fungus, so she insisted on going to get new ones. We attempted to learn the bus system here, which isn't so terrible, however, you need to have EXACT change when you purchase your tickets. On top of that, there was a huge fire on Oxford Street, so the busses weren't running directly to where we wanted to go. Of course, we didn't notice until we had walked to 2 separate bus stations. Go figure. We did finally get to Piccadilly Circus, though, and Deidre got her new Flip Flops.
The food in London IS as bad as they say, and London IS as expensive as they say as well! Overall, it is starting to seem like another city, although the pigeons in the train stations and malls are kind of throwing us off... You'll be walking around inside something, and a pigeon will fly right by your head, or you'll have to wait at a pigeon crossing, not to mention, they walk SLOW!
