29th August. Tonight we took a 1 hour cruise down the Seine. The Eiffel tower is amazing during the day but spectacular at night. The weather was quite mild so we sat outside on top of the boat. Paris really is lovely at night. Yes Michelle Gary is here I have included a photo as evedence. Bonjour, Our first full day in Paris and we are all exhausted and haven't even finished yet. We left our petit apartment this morning headed for the Eiffel Tower. We climbed to the 2nd level 670 stairs. I am soooo glad that my training on the 1000 steps paid off. It was a beautiful day but a little windy on the Tower. Today the 29 of the 8th 2009 we climbed the Eiffel tower. We had to walk up two levels and then catch a lift. There is 16,060 stairs but i only had to climb 670,it souds like a lot but it wasn't to many. Tonight i am going to look at the Eiffel tower again but it will be all lit up, and i am also catching a boat. Bye for now. xxx

Friday 29th august. After a 6 hour flight from Dubai we arrived in the city of lights, Paris. Still magical and beautiful. We caught the train from CDG airport with out too much trouble and made our way to our very petit (small) apartment. It is all of 25sq metres. Alexs fold out bed nearly reaches from wall to wall. 27th August Dubai. Arrived safely into Dubai international airport this morning at 11am. Thaey have upgraded the airport since we were here last so we didn't have to catch a shuttle from the tarmac in, instead we were right at the terminal. The weather was 38 when we arrived and climbed to a blistering 42. Dubai is very smoggy and busy. The heat is made worse by the fact that there are no trees or grassy areas just concrete and bitumen.
