Happy Thanksgiving in Hell, Grand Cayman, hahaha. There is one tiny spot on this island that looks like the volcanic photo in the blog. Jamaica was rugged. Even in the nice touristy areas of Montego Bay, things didn't feel quite safe. We really lucked out and got an AMAZING tour guide. Bob negotiated a deal with a bus driver and our crew of nearly 30 fit on a small bus to head towards Dunns Falls. Well. we made it! We are sailing away on an adventure with 30 family members! We spent this first day of our sailing adventure eating and enjoying the ship, despite the cold wind. New Orleans! New Orleans is a really different city than we had ever been to before. We arrived to meet up with our family members that were already there. Our hotel was a quick drive downtown, so we headed over to the World's Famous Mother's Restaurant downtown. It had the BEST bread pudding we had ever eaten, and the cajun food was good too. I realized that I hadn't made our final entry saying that we made it home!! We went through LAX again and ate at In and Out, this time with our awesome friends, the Winegars, from Rancho Cucamonga. We didn't have enough time to spend with them, but it was still fun to see them. We made it back to San Antonio around midnite on Friday and still haven't fully recovered, but the trip was so worth it. Until our next adventure....
