Oatman, Arizona is an old gold-mining town up in the mountains. We took a long, windy, drive up there. The streets have wild donkeys that were left behind many years ago, and we got bags of food to feed them. They ate right out of our hands. At high noon, there was a gun-fight in the middle of town square. It is right on Old Highway 66. We got to walk through part of the mine. Our cousins, Nick and Narci Martinez have an awesome little hideout just off the Colorado river. The kids had a blast hanging with their cousins and riding dirt bikes and ATV's. Hollie kept us well fed with her awesome cooking, and yummy s'mores in the fire pit. We left San Antonio at just after midnight to head to the Martinez family river house in Topock, Arizona.
