Well. we made it! We are sailing away on an adventure with 30 family members! We spent this first day of our sailing adventure eating and enjoying the ship, despite the cold wind. We are heading to the island of Jamaica, and none of us in our little family have been before. The kids couldn't be more excited, and have been listening to Bob Marley for weeks.

The ship was kind of a nightmare regarding the kids club. All of our kids are different ages, and the way the age groups fell, Malikai and Ryan had to go to the younger age group, as did Alyssa, Kylie and Lauren. The kids were not thrilled to say the least. We spent quite a bit of time talking to all of the powers that be on the ship, but that is where everyone ended up. Luckily for Malikai and Kylie, they have sweet cousins who would rather spend time with them even if it meant not getting to do all of the adventures that they wanted to with the club.

We ended up having dinner at 6, which always kind of threw a wrench in things, but it was what it was. The kids really enjoyed getting all dressed up every night.

Kylie and Alyssa stayed in Grandma and Grandpa's room, and they absolutely loved the ability to be kind of on their own. It really helped not having to fight with Kylie to do her hair every day! Alyssa always looks adorable, and Kylie fit right in and enjoyed getting ready with her cousin. Lauren, Alyssa and Kylie were three peas in a pod, and sometimes didn't want to do what the other two wanted to, but figured out a way to have an absolute blast together.

Malikai and Ryan had a pretty good run of the ship, and were old enough to check things out and play games throughout the ship.

Narci and Gabe spent lots of time together, especially in kids club, where they always seemed to want to be.,
