From the beach to Mt Fuji! We had a great day today. It started off a little crazy, we had to take 2 trains and 2 buses on our trek to see Mt Fuji. During the climbing season, there are buses straight there, but the mountain is only open from July through August. I'll have to post pictures of the Aquarium separately. This aquarium is the second largest in the world. We saw all types of sharks, a spiny lobster which was as big as Narci, and any other thing you can think of that belongs underwater. The kids loved it, I am definitely glad we went. Probably one of the highlights. I didn't really want to go in the water after seeing all of the sharks, but it was really interesting.

Okuma beach was awesome! We stayed in a military resort nestled within the foothills of Okuma, on a peninsula with a south and north beach. The property is perfect for families, it had golf, gokarts, playground, etc. We mostly stuck with the beach, except Malikai was in the batting cage within 5 minutes of us arriving. We were so lucky to be here for Adam's promotion ceremony to 1st Lieutenant. His promotion ceremony was on his flightline. Adam manages a fleet of F-15 fighter jets. We got there early, so that we could see the jets take off on their sorties, or daily training missions. The drive to Okuma was almost 2 hours, but it was really cool to see everything along the way. I took most of the terrible photos, since Jeff was driving. The views were breathtaking all along the way. I would definitely equate it to a drive along the North Shore of Hawaii. Very slow go, but incredible beaches and scenery all along the way. There was everything from these little fishing villages, and high end beach resorts. There was even a baseball academy. ...
