Hia all! Just a quick one to let you know we've arrived safe n sound in Kerala! Been travelling the whole day so nothing much to report - took us 5 hours to drive from Jaipur to Delhi (it was a sad fairwell to our new friend Mahabir/Mohammed/Mo... whatever his name was!), then a 4 hour flight down to Cochin (which is where we are now - Ernakulam), stopping at Mumbai on the way. We had a KFC at the airport, haha!!

It's bloomin' hot down south!!! We landed at 6pm and it was still 28 degrees - it's now 9.45pm and the temperature hasn't dropped! Tonight's gonna be fun trying to sleep! It's so green and lush here too, the north was very dry and dusty.

Got a lovely hotel, a bit more than we were paying up north and the prices were fixed so now bartering :(, but still only 550rps and it's the nicest we've stayed in yet. Just been to have some proper Keralan food at a place called Indian Coffee House - we both tried masala dosai, which is like a big pancake thing with a spicy tomato sauce and veg inside, mmm! It only came to a quid for the both of us... with drinks! Haha - you'll love that KC pal!!! Looking forward to some nice seafood down here cuz it was mainly veg food up north.

Anyway, off for a shower and beddy byes now cuz we're up early tomorrow to get the train further south to Varkala where the beaches are supposed to be gorgeous. Gonna spend a few days down there to chill out cuz we've been so busy since we got here. Hopefully try to speak to some over you via skype ths weekend, can't promise anything cuz the internet is soooo slow here and the time difference has been an issue but we're gonna try!
