Round The World In 110 Days
The following day we drove along the coast, taking in the endless farmland and sheep before reaching the town of Oamaru, famous for it's penguin colonies. As we had already experienced penguins in Australia we decided to give this a miss and instead headed into town, which includes a well preserved Victorian quarter. We wandered through there for a while but soon discovered that there was little to do here. After finding somewhere to eat we headed back to the campsite as we had an early start the following day-onwards to Invercargill.
