<well hello there!

Iäm writing this on a german laptop so i'll apölogise now for any typos. The letters are all over ze place!

Am rooming with a cute German girl called Sarah who has been an au pair in Conneticuit for the last year. Most of the people on this tour are German au pairs, except 2 other girls from Adelaide, a girl from Canberra, a nz woman and a guy from london. Poor boy is the only male.

Spent most of the day on the road yesterday through joshua tree national park (desert, desert, more desert) HICKSVILLE! Then ended up at a casino in Laughlin Nevada for the night... which was really quite sad - the people i mean.

Today Grand Canyon was AWESOME... Helicopter is now my preferred method of transport. Very cool.

SOooo much more I could say but I feel bad because iäm on this girl's computer. Will hopefully get back to civilisation soon, seriouslz i hope soon because we are camping out in wood cabins tonight and for those of you who know me, would know that this is definitely NOT my thing!

Ok must run, think we were doing a bonfire with smores (this is a good example of americans taking something simple and making is totally BIGGER)

PS our tour guide#s name is Tevra (apparently a combination of debra and steve, her parents - californaians much?) and is like a confused brittney spears... such a total bimbo and has gotten us lost multiple times already... one cactus looks like another cactus i gues...
