We were sooo glad to arrive in New York, especially after the 24 hour journey it ended up being from Buenos Aires.After making our way to Jamaica station on the air train we caught the train to
Babylon with 30 seconds to spare and we knew it was going to be a good stay.

From Babylon train station we made our way down to Stuart, Melissa and Emily's house and let ourselves in waiting for Emily to get home.Not long before she arrived and it was great to see our
little niece again, and Stu and Mel as well of course.

We had a fantastic Christmas in New York.We visited the city, went ice skating in Central Park, caught up with both Patsy and Gav and had a superb family Christmas at Uncle Dan's with the rest of
the Mayer clan.

I was very sad to leave on the 28of December to fly to New Zealand. After spending some time with family and seeing my mum for only a night I felt homesick for the first time since we had left.
Still Hannah reminded me that if I went home I would have to start working again so we promptly boarded the plane to Auckland via Los Angeles.
