Spent the next few days walking and looking around the shops. I'd generally walk down to Broadbeach along the sea, stop for a sunbathe, drinkie, lunch and mooch around the shops. Had a lovely bbq cooked by Linda on Thursday evening and got an early night. Went to a huge huge shopping centre called Pacific Fair on Friday 21st which had every shop you could imagine and the best popcorn ever (recommended to me by a guy in Byron Bay who I booked my Cairns trip with). It seems there's not much else on offer here other than shopping centres and beaches but I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Colin and Linda were great hosts and just wanna say another big thank you for putting up with me x
