Got to Byron Bay around midday on Sunday 16th after a short stop at Ballina where I took a piccie of The Big Prawn. Even hotter than Coffs and had to carry my backpack around looking for somewhere to stay. Eventually found Backpacker Inn right on the beach but a bit scuzzy to say the least.
