So its done, the last big stop on the Europe leg, Oktoberfest. Every preconceived notion I had of the festival was there; the massive smokey beer halls filled with people singing & swinging steins, locals wandering around in traditional outfits (I was told a lot of Germans have some lederhosen tucked away in their closet), oompah bands playing funny traditional music (although they do some modern stuff too, ACDC was brilliant) and millions and millions of touri...

OK so I did it for all the Asian countries, I'm lumping together all the last 4 countries I visited for a best of. Best Meal: Salmon, rice and potato salad in Höfn, Iceland. Why? Cause the fish was 50% off! Cheaper than back home to boot. Best Capital: Copenhagen. Cool cobblestone streets, canal tours, a little mermaid statue and drinking in the streets at 10am! Stockholm could almost take the prize, but the problem is all the Swede's that live there...
