After along drive to get here, this place is amazing. Went on a boat ride down the Red River to spot a bit of wild life, loads of camen crocs around! Then there was a choice to go swimming in the same water as them, why not! Came out with alllombs as well! Totally eco friendly, wildlife like you would not believe and so tranquil. Well today am on the move again, leaving this lovely town of Paraty and heading 1600km across Brazil towards Patanel. Tonight is freestyle camping, meaning the truck just pitches up anywhere, no facilities (getting used to that!). Climbed/cycled yet another mountain yesterday, chasing waterfalls, and found a man in the forest who makes his own Cachaca (Brazilian spirit), only me hey! some sampling went on there i can tell you, then down a mountain on a bike! x

hey, arrived at first place of expedition today, Paraty. Camping here for 3 nights, might do a bit of kayaking and biking tomorrow. Weird getting to know 34 poeple and what they do and what their story is, all really good, very content! x
