Papeete International Open Air Airport 5:45 am 89 degrees . humidity 80....feels like 90. Had an unexpected layover in Tahiti to change planes. Thinking we were the only ones continuing on to Auckland we let the plan empty before we got up, only to realize that 99% of those on our flight would also be on our next flight. We had assigned seating, but had to wait in the heat standing in line for 45 miniutes to be "rescreened" when we had JUST left the same company's plane. Luckily I had my sandals in my back pack, rolled up my Levi's (R) and took a layer off .After sticking my head under the faucets I felt much better. Only six more hours to go
