Actually posting from LAX after a very long flight we arrived to find out we had missed our connecting flight because United cancelled our flight and booked us on one an hour earlier than we landed in the US. Needless to say it took more than a few breaths to keep me from jumping across the counter and strangling the woman. We'll we've arrived on the last bit of our journey. It's been so much travel and so much to see that I feel a bit guilty not being able to portray it through decents postcards. We just finished a fly/cruise/fly tour of Milford Sound which was absolutely gorgeous. We are waiting in the airport to catch our final Air NZ flight to Auckland. We return to the states tomorrow. I finally got smart and decided to create my postcards before I actually log on so that I can say what I want and not feel pressured to get offline. It's not that expensive to do at the internet café's but Phil and I have agreed it's more important to "be here" than document constant updates of "being here" although I feel a certain responsibility to keep folks updated. We're about to jump on a hop flight to Christchurch in about an hour and I wanted to update you that we're well and having a wonderful time.
