Picked up our Maui camper, hmmm, running repairs to the roof above the driver's cabin required before we left the Maui depot. More running repairs on a quick stop at Lancelin to fix the rattling cupboards, so loud you couldn't have a conversation without shouting.

The sand dunes around Lancelin and Nambung National Park looked impressive, especially with the play of light and shadow over the ridges and wind ripples. No time to stop and take photos.

Staff at Jurien Bay Tourist Park were wonderful. We rang while on the road from Lancelin to book a site as our intended free camping options were no longer available. The van park is situated right on the beach at Turquoise Bay.

Watched our first sunset over the Indian Ocean from the jetty at Dobbyn Park.
