OK guys - so we had justy moved to our inbudget guest house.......................... it was such a lovely spot and we meet some really great people, i'll have to name a few, Meral and Ian, Dot and John, Deb and Gary, Beryle and Ivan, Anna, Becky and Chris and of course the scuba nation crew - Ken, suzanne, Ziggy and Micheal!! :)

So anyways - our first night in and we both wake uo with bites - vicky is worse off than me!! we are a bit surprised as we went to all measures not to get eaten -like so many other nights!! Bug spry on us - bug spray in the room - mosiqto net up drapped over our bed - pity we were not under it with someone else - ie robbie or Jay!! haha would have been a little more romantic! We even had the plug in thingy - anyways - we just decided that we were unlucky, vicky had been a little unwell so we just lay low - the next day i had planned to go on my scuba diving overnight trip - so alarm clock was set for early early. midnight night past and we weren't alseep all we manged to do was itch!! and then - about 0200 i lost my rag!! MY GOODNESS someone was gonna listen too me - OR ELSE!! i went to find some staff member only to walk right into the security man outside our room. I started to give off top him but he just stared at me and smiled (obviously didn't understnad english) so all i said was english, english etc until he eventually goty some lady who in turn woke some other lady!! and hey presto we had three people out of bed and hearing our sob storey!!

I'm not joking - there wasn't a patch of skin on Vickyu's legs that hadn't been biten and i showed the ladies they were horrified!! I demanded that we move rooms as i thought that something was in the room!! or in the mattress. Ken my scuba instructor had told me a storey earlier that day about finding a nest of spiders in his matress once!! i think the storey was playing on my mind!!

Well anyways - there were no free rooms - at this point - very tired andvery pissed off Michelle decided that she would start to cry!!!! haha its funny to think about it now but it was far from funny at 0200 that morning. So if we couldn't move rooms I wanted a new matress -this was possible - i think we took one of the staff's bed but i wasn't worried at that point!! we sprayed it with MORE bug spray got new sheets and eventually settled into bed. One of the ladies cmae back with Frsh limes for our bites to help soothe them - this kinda heled along with vicky putting on her flight socks toi keep her legs coverd. I too looked like the double of simon Cowell - i had my top tucked into my PJ bottoms and socks over the trousers!! hahah absolute classic. i looked like this while shouting at the security man too - i'm surpiresed he didn't just laugh at me!!

Well we woke up in a better mood and vicky went to the medical centre to get cream for her bites - which helped immediatley. I headed off on my scuba trip but was happy enough as a lovely group of English people we had met was gonna make sure she was ok, till I got back!!

while i was gone we moved rooms and this time we ended up in an even more expensive room out of budget!! but absolute luxary - vicky even got to watch WWE on TV!!

My scuba trip was great - and came back an offical diver!! POP POP. I had a wicked time and also done some nighttime snorkling. What the hell wouylf i see then i hear you say - but honestyl!! when you turn on the torch the fish go totally crazy!! and start swimming into the light and banging off your bottom its a very sereal feeling!! I meet some great people on the trip, the boat was totally geared for diving and drinking!! a storm started that nights, so i got a bit wet during the night - and was awaken by the captin moving the boat a bit closer to land for more shelter!! O WHAT A NIGHT!! (does that song come into your head cos it did with me!!) :)

While i was away vicky done her classroom stuff and then had her trip over the weekend................................... and her account goes like this.........................

ooooo my god! i had the best time everrrrrrr! i have a very expensive hobbie! all i want for xmas is a boat, scuba gear, and blue clear water with lots of fish. thanks santa. neway, as michelle said we met amazing people on the trip really enjoyed all of there company, the instrustors were so funny, and had alot of patience which is needed if your learning me nething. words cant describe the feeling of beeing under water. i loved it xxxx

the next day we headed off cross the border into vietnam......................
