We got a later start than we planned on Saturday. So, we decided to nix the stop in Albuquerque and get to Carlsbad going through Tucson. We decided to boondock somewhere in Tucson and leave really early Sunday morning to get to Carlsbad, NM.
In case you aren't familiar, boondocking just means more primitive camping, with no electricity, water or bathrooms. It usually means that people are staying in more quiet, remote, and scenic places.
For us it just means we are overnighting in a park or parking lot and using the generator instead of plugging in. Plus our RV, it is not primitive since we still have electricity, water and bathrooms. We also still have internet and streaming TV. So in our case, we will use boondocking as a more 'loose' description.
