well, i am back on air again. had a few issues with my xoom. I bought a sim card, but i read the instructions, and quite frankly it all seemed Greek to me. Consequently, nothing worked. anyway, Cheryl and i got a good nights sleep and got up early to go and see the Acropolis. We had agreat breakfast at the hotel, and off we went. The trip from Dubai took a reasonable 4hours. We arrived at 1.30. By the time we got through customs it was about 2.30pm. We arrived at the hotel Herodian at aaprox 4.00pm. During the drive from the airport we were able to see glimpses of Athens, the good and the bad. The freeway was very good. The taxi driver very friendly and helpful.
