The Travel people picked us up on time, and their were 4 other Australians in our group. Two young girls from Sydney going to Europe, and two middle aged people from Brisbane, returning from a 8 week sojourn of Europe. The tour took us out about 45 mins from Dubai, into desert country. Cheryl and I had a very lazy day in Athens, while staying at the Sofitel at the airport. We initially checked in, then went down to the bar to have a few drinks and a light snack. Well after 11 hours we finally arrived in Dubai. Emirates are great to fly on. However I developed a bit of an upset stomach on the way, so I can assure you I could hardly wait to get off the bus into the terminal to find a toilet.
