Koh Phi Phi is a true island paradise. Stunning beaches surround the main Island and hidden beaches ala "The Beach" can be found within it's smaller neighbour. There is still a lot of evidence from the Tsunami in 2004. A lot of the reconstruction work needs to be completed but that shouldn't put anyone off coming here. I have also been to Koh Phanagan which is equally relaxing in certain areas. If however, you want to party there is no better place than Haad Rin, where you can drink buckets of whisky, Red Bull and Coke for just a few pounds - Warning things can get messy ! Since my last postcard I have travelled through the north of Laos which was superb. Awesome scenery and extremely friendly people. I then went into the north of Thailand and spent a week in Chiang Mai and Pai which was ok, but slightly disapointing after Laos. Anyway that is all for now, next stop - Bali
