Hello everyone, this the first "postcard" of my journey. Only a few weeks late. Anyway I have just arrived in Vietiane, the capital city of Laos. I can honestly say this is the most laid back and traffic free capital I have ever encountered. It really is hard to believe that this could be a city at all. I will be making my way north before going into Northern Thailand. Whilst in Central Thailand I went to Kanchanaburi. There I visited the bridge over the river Kwai and stroked some tigers in a temple (I'm being serious, photos to come). Hope you are all OK, and you are enjoying the English heatwave at the moment.
