Awoke to howling gale and driving rain, thank goodness we did the crossing last night, pity those crossing later today.

Good breakfast then on the road, stopped for cash and a coffee in some strange Spanish town. Then drove up to Cáceres.

Very nice little town with lots of medieval buildings, but no hint of its Moorish past. Patron saint of the town is St George and its KKK like march is April 23rd.

Found a very nice Tapas restaurant down a back street.

Off to bed in nice hotel with a bath and hot water, ready for last push across Spain
