Awoke to howling gale and driving rain, thank goodness we did the crossing last night, pity those crossing later today. Good breakfast then on the road, stopped for cash and a coffee in some strange Spanish town. Then drove up to Cáceres. Very nice little town with lots of medieval buildings, but no hint of its Moorish past. Patron saint of the town is St George and its KKK like march is April 23rd. Up early and usual breakfast of chewy pancakes and honey. Mad drive through traffic around Marrakesh with murder death and mayhem everywhere, then just long drag up the motorway to Tanger. Last sight of camels on the road up to Tanger Normal Moroccan directions had us waiting at the port for an extra hour as some confusion over whether the boat was sailing 6:30 Moroccan or Spanish time. Got up to bright sunshine and drove down to the Cascade. Very nice and sunny spot. Last bit of off road as we drove out from the cascades and onto the 'main' road. Mostly roads today as we head North back towards home. Stopped on the way in Tamegroute for haggling to buy the obligatory Tagines and green pottery, bargains galore. A stop off in Zagora for a last check of the cars in Said's garage and lunch (tagine of course) cooked by Said's mother. On up the hill for our last night of wild camping with a good campfire but fortunately no songs.

Another good day of off road driving along sand rivers and dunes. A good fun morning of driving through big dunes. Managed to prove that no matter how good the vehicle and the electronics controlling it you still have to have a level of competence. Couldn't get up an early big dune, before Neil persuaded me you really can run those tyres at 15psi. Then got up no problem.
