went to kanchanaburi yesterday got a taxi straight to the bus station so didnt get lost this time, and after another 2 and a bit hour bus journey we arrived. hired our own personal ricshaw driver called chi and he took as around the sights for 4 hours. saw the bridge over the river kwai and the only original part of the track left, went to the war cemetaries had luch on a floating resturant next to the bridge ad after a very long walk up a hill visited a monastary where we saw another giant buddah and went down a very deep cave that was full of bats. we travelled by 1st class on the way home which took longer than 2nd on the way there though we did get a free bottle of water. took a cab bk home and 2 lazy 2 go out and eat ordered pizza at the pizza hut around the corner xx
