we arrived here after a very long 13 hour bus and boat ride to a torrential downpour it was definatley monsoon season. we arrived at our hotel which was a very nice bungalow by the beach (the only thing no western toilet). We spent the next 2 days soaking wet as the island was having such bad weather. We had the biggest thunderstorm on the last night and woke up 2 fiend that th whole iland was flooded. People were walking around in water up 2 their stomachs. We then decided it was time to leave as the weather was meant 2 get worse. It took as about an hour to get 2 the boat as mst of th island was cut off. We were meant 2 head across 2 the other island and go 2 the full moon party but because the waether ws so bad we decided to leave and head across to phuket.
