Caribbean cruise, Princess line leaving from Houston Feb. 1, 2014....except dense fog detained our departure until noon feb 2! We enjoyed 2 days at sea with pool time, spa time, and even line dancing lessons!
So our itinerary was changed, omitting Roatan Honduras and going to Costa Maya Mexico. That turned out to be a happy accident! We enjoyed a beautiful day with a private snorkel trip and then beach time with unlimited food and drinks :-)

The private beach club was outstanding! We enjoyed the 2 friendly snorkel guides who took us out in the motor boat, rather than catamaran, due to high waves. We cut the boat time a bit short due to choppy waters, but that was o.k. because we had other options. Our afternoon on the beach was just the break we needed. The massage lady was great, as were the food and drinks. Maybe we will eventually make it to Roatan....but for this trip, Costa Maya was fine.
