OH MY GOODNESS! This day in Belize proved to be unforgettable...full of excitement and new experiences! We were met at the port by the wonderful guides from Zipline.bz and Cavetubing.bz and took off in a van (13 tourists and driver and guide). A 30 min. (or so) drive took us to the ZIPLINE site. We were nervous, since none had ever attempted this, but the professionals quickly put us at ease. There is plenty of safety gear, and their skills made me feel comfortable. Katy used a GOpro video camera, and I will try to edit and publish footage later. I don't think I could've had the presence of mind or any free hand to attempt any other photos I would plan to always do this whenever available!

Next we drove to a site for some CAVEtubing! After about a 45 minute hike through some gorgeous jungle, we climbed onto our innertubes that were hooked together so we made a 2x13 person chain. Our helmets had lights attached so we could see while in the darkness; however, there were many places where sunlight shone through. Stalactites and stalagmites made beautiful formations of limestone. The guide was very informative about Belize's plants, etc. IT WAS GREAT!

Finally we went back to the company location for a nice lunch of black beans with rice, spicy chicken, and slaw. YUMMY and we were really hungry after all that activity!
