It seems forever since we returned from our trip, and slowly I'm sorting through the photos taken. Up to yet there are nearly 2000 piccies and quite a few videos. I know you don't want to be bored silly but as quite a few of you wanted to see them I thought Id share some wildlife ones first taken whilst we were travelling. Also, if anyone would like to see my video of the arrival of 80 plus little Blue Penguins after a day feeding off the Otago Peninsula, its only a few minutes long, but quite amazing as its dark (nearly 10pm in late January) please let me know and I'll also download it. They are such wonderful little creatures and of all the Penguin species most folks haven't heard of them. They are so cute, about 12 inches high and to think they go out every day before dawn to feed and return late at night to their burrows which are on the (protected) beach below the Royal Albatross Centre at the end of the Otago Peninsula, near Dunedin. We were totally knocked out by our visit and to realise when we returned home, I have this amazing footage is truly incredible.

 As this blog has been seen by various others, as well as family and friends I've been expected to add features re the places we saw, hotels we stayed in and attractions and things we did.

For those who haven't read my blog before, we started off on the 18th December 2013 with 5 days in Dubai, followed by 4 weeks in Australia including Christmas and New Year, then 3 unbelievable weeks touring the North and South Islands of New Zealand, then 5 restful days in Fiji and finally a couple of days 'stop over' exploring in Dallas, Texas before returning to England on 17th February 2014


So I will be adding pages in the next few weeks to show photos of the different countries we visited and the famous sights we enjoyed. Feel free to delete me if you are not interested, but hopefully most of you will enjoy the show!
