It's time to start making way for home, our planned trip accomplished (York and Fleurieu peninsula's along with Great Ocean Road).
Headed to Queenscliff to catch the ferry over to Sorrento. Had a look at Port Lonsdale on the way. Watched a tug ferry a big cargo ship through a section of the bay called the rip.
Again the caravans parks in both these towns are fully booked. We only now realise the close proximity of Melbourne and how the city folk like to get away.
The trip on the ferry was great fun, a first for the girls.
We decided to have a couple of nights out with some relaxing, fishing and no driving. Checked out the camps 5 (a must for travelling) and found Shallow Inlet (beach camping) at the top of Wilsons Promontory.
Wilsons promontory being the most southern part of Australia.
Played some games, Kayce cooked dinner and watched a beautiful sunset.
