Day 25 16/08/11
Heading further down the Stuart Highway today, so we packed up after a quick Breakfast. Not too much to report for today as it was really just travelling down the straight hwy !! We did pass through Daly Waters and were too early for lunch, but we did pass some of the Variety Bash Cars that we saw the other week heading back – maybe they have the final night get together in Daly Waters ??? One poor car didn’t make it as it was travelling on the Variety Flatbed! Camped the night at a roadside stop, called Attack Creek….. we managed to get a secluded spot and have a small campfire (so Nachos in the camp oven for dinner …. Yummy) away from all the other nomads but it was still quite noisy through the night with the Road Trains passing and people starting their car engines at all odd hours of the morning!!
