Well this morning, I picked up Ralph, a cool, smooth & sleek operator with a big engine, a comfortable seat and a stero banging out tunes from Triple J Radio station and we travelled in harmony together out of Perth towards the wine and surf centre of WA, namely Margaret River. Right now we're both in Bunbury - this place is a bit dire something like Newman by the sea and we would escape but I've been promised Dolphins and I'm staying til I get them and I'm hoping that will be tomorrow and if not I'm going to sulk esp after the Monkey Mia experience. Anyway I arrived at my backpackers and can't check in until 4 so just killing time now - then I've been recommended a restaurant to visit by a taxi driver. It's called Oristo's and the owner had a gold plate or something in Perth but now just runs this small bistro here and it's the best seafood place in WA - we shall see. Anyway I'm just here for the night then Ralph and I will travel once more in harmony down to Surfpoint resort for wine and surfers - what more could a girl ask for?? Oh and Singin' Johnny if you're reading this I wish you were here as they've got a Karoke Comp here tomorrow night - luckily for the locals it's a day too early for me.
