WHERE VIV'S AT...
Hi again everyone. Bangkok has grown on me and it feels like I've been here ages. Yesterday we went to The Grand Palace which was bright and shiney and full of tourists, but you have to do these things. Whilst there we went to see Wat Phra Kaew which is the Emerald Buddha and to be honest it was a bit disappointing - I was expecting a big b***** but it was so tiny you could hardly see it. But next stop Wat Pho did not disappoint at all - for those that don't know this is the reclining Buddha and boy was he big. I loved Wat Pho, really peaceful less tourists and they have the Thai Massage school there so obviously I had to have a massage but very diffferent to what I've had before - still got the bruises. Last night we met up with the rest of the tour group who seem good, my roomey is Elisa who's a journalist from Milan and she's a nice girl. As it was our last night in Bangkok we hit the Ko Shan road for cocktails and this morning I feel a little delicate.
Tonight we get the train to the rain forest so I won't be in touch for a couple of days. Also will try and get some photos up when I find out how to use my lovely new camera (got loads)
Bye for now - and bring on those spiders.....
