Hi folks, we are trying to get ready for our trip out west (apologies to Horace Greeley for the misquote). This is our first attempt at blogging so please bear with us. We are trying a different site than the one my sister usually uses. I am using today to get the blog set up and then probably won't make any further entries until after we actually leave on the third.

Dale is out washing the van so we will start out clean but don't expect it to stay that way for long. The trip will be over 5000 miles in a lot of dusty places.
