Got up and got the free shuttle bus down to the beach. Took some laundry down which took 24hrs. Then we heard thunder and saw dark clouds rolling in so we decided to head for shelter in a cafe/bar. Then as the sky cleared we got a couple of sun beds on the beach. Lay there for a bit but had to keep going in the sea to cool off as the sun was SO hot! Although there seemed to be loads of dead fish floating on the shore which was minging! Came back got changed and went back down to the beach for tea where Jenny had ribs and i had chicken fajitas - mmm yummy! Although we have found that Phuket is a very touristy place and has a lot of package holiday families about, therefore things are expensive and well above our budget. But hopefully when we get to the islands, things will be cheaper. Anyway after tea we decided to have a wander about and walked down the main strip of bars, which was horrid! Full of old men with young Thai girls, and ladyboys, some of which were very funny, and made me feel even fatter as they had figures a girl would die for!
