11th June 2007
Since i last wrote we haven't done anything particularly special, just been spending every day at the beach so thought it would be pointless to write everyday writing the same thing! But today we decided for a change and headed to La Mai beach. We got a tuk tuk type van there that cost 50 Baht each (1 pound) and took about 20 mins. It's a much quieter beach than Chaweng, not as many watersports. Also the sea gets deep much quicker than on Chaweng, which is a good thing. Water is still pretty clear and hardly any seaweed whatsoever! Bad point is that the sand is much grittier and not as nice, although its easier to knock off your legs. Stayed there all day in the sun playing frisbee! (Which i discovered i am shocking at!) Then late afternoon we headed back and freshened up, then went down to Tropical Murphys where we had tea. Then went to Black Jacks (English Pub) and had a drink, made use of the free internet, and also Jenny ate a dead cricket!!! Eugh, obviously i resisted quite easily!

Today we got up and went for lunch, then went into the travel agents and booked our tickets to Koh Phagnan for tomorrow. Cost us 250 Baht each and leaves at 10.45 in the morning. Get the catamaran which takes 20 mins. So should be a change of scenery since we have been in Koh Samui a week and a half now. So quite looking foward to it. Not much else to write, gonna head for some tea now, then back early to pack our bags and get some sleep, as i've struggled sleeping at night. No idea why, as we have air-con so can't be because im hot, and we're not in a noisy area, so god knows!
